Danny was my grandpa and I loved him so much. I remember when we would sit in front of his bed and eat potato chips while watching the football game. I was 5 when we lost him and now im 13 and i still remember him. I love you pawpaw. Always and forever.

Even though we have been a part of the oil industry for many years overseas, Danny was a sort of mentor for us when we established our first branch here in the US. I never had the pleasure of meeting him, although we always had it in our plans. TP has always been great with us and we have Danny's great leadership to thank. Danny was my brother-in-law for 34 years, I do not ever remember a time in my life that he was not in it. I used to go on date with you and Sharon when you first started dating!! You could slice that hot April humid stuff Houston calls air at the huge OTC BBQ with a knife.. I pulled up a rickety folding chair alongside an alone Danny as he pulled a deep breath off a fine Cuban cigar he somehow obtained .. he looked at me with that satisfied look I have grown to know over the 25 odd years we have known each other, you know that look where his clear eyes say it all .. “Phil”, he said, “ this is the time I enjoy best, when the BBQ smoke and craziness has cleared, when it all winds down and I can enjoy the peace , when I can just sit here, reflect and just enjoy the peace of it all” Today as I viewed your life played on a video screen as you lay in state, I felt that peace you talked about .. you lived a full life Danny and now it is time to enjoy your peace .. thank you for taking care of my wife Marcia as you 2 ventured thru oilfield life, making her Texas Oilfield Trash proud .. and I am proud in your last moments, she never left your side trying to care for you .. I've been blessed to know, work with and enjoy Danny for the past twenty-six years. Danny always took time to know how you were doing. Before we talked business. No matter the question, Danny had an answer for a question or a problem. It was always good to see Danny when I came to Dallas for meetings. I got to know his wife, Sharon and the kids. Well mostly through Danny's stories about you all. He was so proud of his children and Sharon. Danny bubbled over when he talked about his family. It's a real hit in the stomach for me and some many others. When we got the call from Marcia. My deepest and heartfelt sympathy for Danny's family. I met Danny a few months ago when introduced to him by my foreign buyer. He was straightforward and cordial. We talked a few times by phone and when I mentioned I was born in Rockwall, he began telling me about his daughter. His pride in her was evident. A few more times I spoke with him by phone, always intending to get to meet him personally when in DFW area, but we never could line up our appointment books. It's a shame, because the dozen times or so we spoke, he was always gracious with his time and his thoughts. The first time I ever heard of him was at a NOMADs meeting. People there spoke so highly of him, I remember thinking, "I wish I knew this felow, Danny Ingram." Once I met him, I thought "Wish I knew Danny Ingram better."
